Postdoc opportunity at University of California, Davis with Dr Alessandro Ossola’s Urban Science Lab.
The 2-yr postdoc will work on a project about tree cooling performance in California schoolyards, as part of a robust interdisciplinary team with UCLA, UC Berkeley, and the USDA Forest Service, as well as state and nonprofit partners.
The postdoc will carry out microclimate measurements on selected California public K-12 campuses, and also contribute to other components of the larger project including school engagement, mentoring grad students, and inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration.
Deadline is March 15, but applications will be reviewed starting February 17, so it is encouraged to apply early.
The preferred start date for the postdoc is May 2024 (negotiable for qualified candidate).
